About the Author
Regiena Brown, writer and athlete, known by her family and friends for having a great imagination. Regiena always wanted to write a children’s book but being in school and working made that difficult. Born and raised in a small-town called Tifton located in Georgia where she was inducted into her High School Hall of Fame for Basketball, she finally got the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a children’s book author. Regiena graduated from Tift County High School. She pursued higher education where she received a basketball scholarship to the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB), where she helped her team advance to the sweet sixteen her senior year. Upon graduating from UAB with a degree in business, somehow life took her into the direction of higher education. She has been in higher education for over 20 years. Regiena has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree in K-12 Leadership.
